Research progress in 1-deoxynojirimycin derivatives with hypoglycemic activity
1-deoxynojirimycin is a polyhydroxypyridine alkaloid with various pharmacological activities. As a strong inhibitor of α-glucosidase,it has been widely studied in the field of hypoglycemia. In order to enhance its specificity and further increase its hypoglycemic activity, researchers mainly modify the structure of 1-deoxynojirimycin through principles of assembly, structural hybridization, and valence state enhancement. This article mainly summarized N-substituted 1-deoxynojirimycin derivatives with hypoglycemic activity in recent years, providing reference for their application in hypoglycemic therapy.
