Application of Fuke Zaizao pills in treatment of recurrent IVF-ET-assisted pregnancy in patients with kidney deficiency,liver depression and blood stasis syndrome
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of pretreatment with Fuke Zaizao pills(FKW)in patients undergoing in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET)again,who have kidney deficiency,liver depression,and blood stasis,to provide data support for the treatment using FKW to assist IVF-ET.Methods:A total of 37 patients with kidney deficiency,liver depression,and blood stasis who underwent IVF-ET at the Fertility and Genetics Branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of University of Science and Technology of China(Anhui Provincial Hospital)from January 2017 to December 2019 were selected as study subjects.These patients received pre-treatment with FKW before attempting pregnancy again.Basal follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),estrogen(E2),anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH),sinus follicle number(AFC),and IVF outcomes were compared between the two groups.Results:Through self-control measures,both groups had matched patient age,infertility years,and other relevant data.There was no statistical difference observed in FSH,LH,E2,AMH or AFC before and after treatment.However,compared to the control group,significant improvements were seen in various parameters including the number of Gn days,endometrial thickness in HCG days,numbers of obtained embryos,obtained fertilized eggs,available embryos,and high-quality embryos,blastocyst formation rate,eggs acquisition rate,fertilization rate,mature eggs rate,the availability rate of embryos,the quality rate of high-quality embryos,and the blastocy stformation rate.The number of follicles(＞14 mm),obtained oocytes,and mature eggs were not significantly different from those in the control group.Statistical pregnancy outcome was achieved in the medication group:the biochemical pregnancy rate was 3.13％,the clinical pregnancy rate was 59.38％,the cumulative live birth rate was 53.13％,and the abortion rate was 10.53％.Conclusion:In the process of IVF-ET-assisted pregnancy for patients with kidney deficiency,liver depression,and blood stasis,pretreatment with FKW can enhance the quantity and quality of available embryos,leading to improved pregnancy outcome.This finding suggests that clinical application of this approach is highly recommended.
