Distributed Collaboration:How the Public Affects Government Crowdsourcing Innovation Adoption
Government crowdsourcing is a model of close interaction between the government and the public and achieves value co-creation,which has its particularity in public management.Exploring the impact mechanism of government crowdsourcing innovation adoption can help improve the efficiency of government innovation adoption.This study adopts grounded theory to analyze the practical cases of government crowdsourcing in Chancheng District.It finds that public value,systemic support,government subject motivation,platform mechanism,and public subject motivation significantly affect the adoption of government crowdsourcing innovation.Among them,the"public"element with the attribute of public resource plays a prominent role.Based on this,a distributed collaborative innovation adoption framework containing four elements of the public,government,platform,and environment,is extracted.The expected public participation willingness and ability have an impact on the government's innovation adoption through three paths of"public-government","public-environment-government",and"public-platform-government"during the initial adoption and continuous adoption stages of distributed collaborative innovation.
