Understanding the Four Dimensions of Advancing the Modernization of State Governance
Promoting the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity is an important part of Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for the new era,with original theoretical significance and important practical value.To promote the modernization of state governance,it is necessary to adhere to the correct directions:first,to develop and improve the socialist system with Chinese characteristics;second,to further deepen reforms in an all-round manner around the advancement of Chinese-style modernization;and third,to promote a better match between state governance and social development;and the six principles of"adherence",namely,adherence to overall leadership of the Party,adherence to taking the people as the center,adherence to observing justice and innovation,adherence to institution-building as the main line,adherence to governing the country in accordance with the law in an all-round manner,and adherence to the systemic concept.It is characterized by six"focuses",namely,focusing on the unity of goal-oriented and problem-oriented reforms,on building an institutional mechanism that supports comprehensive innovation,on comprehensive reforms,on integrating development and security,and on strengthening the Party's leadership of reform.
