Predictive value of cardiac electrophysiological balance index for left ventricular remodeling in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction
Objective The predictive value of cardiac electrophysiological balance index (iCEB )for left ventricu-lar remodeling (LVR )in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI ). Methods A total of 124 patients with STEMI admitted to the Department of Cardiology of Lishui Central Hospital from Janu-ary 2021 to October 2022 were selected as the study subjects.According to whether LVR occurred at 6 months af-ter treatment, they were divided into LVR group (n=36 )and non-LVR group (n=88 ).The clinical data of pa-tients were collected through electronic medical records and compared.Multivariate Logistics regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of LVR,and ROC was used to evaluate the predictive value of iCEB for LVR. Re-sults There were significant differences in infarct size, total cholesterol,NT-proBNP and iCEB between the two groups (P<0.05 ).Multivariate Logistics regression analysis showed that infarct size, total cholesterol,NT-proBNP and iCEB were independent influencing factors of LVR in STEMI patients after PCI (P<0.05 ).ROC a-nalysis showed that the area under the curve of iCEB predicting LVR after PCI in STEMI patients was 0.912,the best cut-off value was 4.25,the sensitivity was 85.86%,and the specificity was 83.97%.The total incidence of adverse cardiac events after PCI in STEMI patients with iCEB≥4.25 was higher than that in patients with iCEB<4.25,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions iCEB can accurately predict the oc-currence of LVR in STEMI patients after PCI.
