Objective To discuss the influence of sakubatril-valsartan on sympathetic nerve activity and vascular endothelial function in patients with essential hypertension(EH).Methods EH patients(n=120)were chosen from Tangshan Central Hospital from July 2021 to June 2022,and divided, according to random digital table, into control group and study group(each n=60).The control group was treated with amlodipine, with an initial dose of 5 mg/d,up to a maximum of 10 mg.After one week of continuous administration, the dosage was adjusted based on the patients'conditions. The study group was additionally treated with sakubatril-valsartan,with a dosage of 50 mg twice daily. The levels of blood pressure[systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP)],sympathetic nerve activity[epinephrine(E),plasma renin activity(PRA),noradrenalin(NE),angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ)],nitric oxide(NO)and endothelin-1(ET-1),and adverse reactions were compared between 2 groups. Results After treatment, levels of SBP and DBP were higher in study group than those in control group(P<0.05),levels of NE,E,PRA and Ang Ⅱ decreased in 2 groups, and were lower in study group than those in control group(P<0.05),and levels of NO and ET-1 increased, and were higher in study group than those in control group(P<0.05).The difference in incidence of adverse reactions had no statistical significance between 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of sakubatril-valsartan is significant in EH patients, which can reduce sympathetic nerve activity and improve vascular endothelial function.
