Objective The purpose of this study was to study the changes in heart rate, product of heart rate and systolic blood pressure(RPP),metabolic rate(MET)and J point after exercise treadmill test in new recruits with early ECG repolarization. To study the occurrence of arrhythmias in newly recruited soldiers with early repolarization after strenuous exercise. Methods Fifty-eight newly recruited soldiers whose electrocardiogram only indicated early repolarization were selected for treadmill exercise test, and the data were recorded in seven stages. When the subjects were in the quiescent period,Tmurp segment was selected as the baseline, the rising height of J point(mV)was measured, and the shape of early repolarization wave in each lead of ECG in each treadmill exercise test was summarized. Results Through the observation of 58 trainers with early repolarization in ECG,it was found that the main leads with early repolarization were Ⅱ,Ⅲ,aVF,V4,V5 and V6.All the trainers with early repolarization showed that after exercise, the ECG showed that the J point decreased gradually or reached the baseline level(J wave height ≤0.1 mV),and the ST segment all moved downwardand return to the normal equipotential line. The electrocardiogram of all the trainers who participated in the exercise treadmill test recovered to the normal ECG,and there was no change of S Mel T segment and decrease of blood pressure.at the same time,it was found that J wave gradually disappeared with exercise. Conclusions for the new recruits with early repolarization of ECG,under the premise of no other heart diseases(cardiac ultrasound, myocardial enzyme test, etc),when tested by treadmill test,it is found that the J point gradually tends to the baseline level, and the S-T segment tends to equipotential, indicating that the risk of malignant arrhythmia may be relatively low.Its early repolarization may be physiological variation and can normally participate in military training.
