Predictive value of scores of model for end-stage liver disease-Ⅺ to prognosis in patients with acute my-ocardial infarction after intracoronary stent implantation
Objective To discuss the predictive value of scores of model for end-stage liver disease-Ⅺ(MELD-Ⅺ)to prognosis in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)after intracoronary stent implantation. Methods AMI patients(n=226)were retrospectively chosen from Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University from Jan.2021 to Dec.2022.According to MELD-Ⅺ scores at admission time, the patients were divided into high MELD-Ⅺ score group and low MELD-Ⅺ score group(each n=113).The short-term and long-term prognoses were compared between 2 groups. Results Compared with low MELD-Ⅺ score group, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)decreased significantly[(51.67±7.91)%vs.(60.91±5.91)%],(P<0.001),and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)increased significantly(822.87±462.38)ng/L vs.(701.84±338.21)ng/L,(P=0.026)in high MELD-Ⅺ score group. The incidence rates of adverse outcome events increased significantly in high MELD-Ⅺ score group compared with low MELD-Ⅺ score group(16.81%vs.6.19%,P=0.012).MELD-Ⅺ score had some predictive value to adverse outcome events in AMI patients after intracoronary stent implantation(AUC=0.732,95%CI:0.671~0.798),(P<0.001).Conclusion MELD-Ⅺ has some reference value in predicting prognosis in AMI patients.
