Objective To study the relationship among metabolic and inflammatory indexesand disease severity in patients with cerebral small vessel disease(CSVD).Methods CSVD patients(n=126)were chosen from Department of Neurology in the Seventh Medical Center,Chinese PLA General Hospital from Sept 2020 to Sept.2021.All patients were given imaging and cognitive assessment and the total CSVD load score was calculated.Meanwhile the examinations of blood routine and total biochemical terms, and levels of glycated hemoglobin(HbAlc),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)and C-reactive protein(CRP)were detected in patients in fasting state on the second day of admission. The relationship among CSVD and metabolic and inflammatory indexes were analyzed. Results The results of single-factor analysis showed that the differences in homocysteine(Hcy),C-RP and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR)had statistical significance among different CSVD loading groups(P<0.05).The results of multi-factor Logisticregression analysis showed that serum Hcy(OR=1.207,95%CI:1.085~1.343,P=0.001)and NLR(OR=2.495,95%CI:1.377~4.522,P=0.003)were independent risk factors of the total CSVD loading. Conclusion For CSVD patients, the levels of Hcy and NLR are significantly positively correlated to the imaging features of CSVD,which can reflect CSVD severity.
