Influence of isosorbide mononitrate on biomarkers of myocardial injury in elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction with different levels Apelin-13
Objective To analyze the influence of isosorbide mononitrate on biomarkers of myocardial injury in elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) with different levels of Apelin-13.Methods AMI patients (n=146) were chosen from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from Jan.2021 to Jan.2024.Taken 15.00 ng/ml of Apelin-13 as cut-off value,the patients with Apelin-13>15.00 ng/ml were included into high-expression group and those with Apelin-13≤15.00 ng/ml,into low-expression group (each n=73).All patients were treated with isosorbide mononitrate.The indexes of heart function,myocardial injury biomarkers,vascular endothelial function and hemodynamics were detected,and curative effect was reviewed in 2 groups.Results After treatment,the levels of left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD),cardiac troponin I (cTnI),creatine kinase-MB isoenzyme (CK-MB),N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP),vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF),von Willebrand factor (vWF),plasma endothelin-1 (ET-1),whole blood viscosity at low share rate (BVL),whole blood viscosity at high share rate (BVH),red blood cell aggregation index (RBCAI) and fibrinogen (FIB) all decreased,and left ventricular peak filling rate (LVPFR) and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) increased in low-expression group compared with high-expression group (P<0.05).The total effective rate was higher in low-expression group than that high-expression group (P<0.05).Conclusion After treated with isosorbide mononitrate,the conditions of heart function,biomarkers of myocardial injury,vascular endothelial function and hemodynamics are improved and curative effect is satisfactory in elderly AMI patients with Apelin-13≤15.00 ng/ml.
