Objective To investigate the predictive value of triglyceride-glucose index (TyG)combined with apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1) to severity of coronary artery stenosis. Methods CHD patients (n=212) were retrospectively chosen from Affiliated Hospital of Shandong Second Medical University, and divided, according to median of Gensini scores, into high-stenosis group and low-stenosis group (each n=106).The baseline materials and laboratory data were compared between 2 groups. The correlation among baseline materials, laboratory data and severity of coronary artery stenosis was analyzed. Results There were significant differences in fasting plasma glucose (FPG),triglyceride (TG),low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C),TyG,apolipoprotein B (ApoB),ApoA1 and ratio of ApoB/ApoA1between 2 groups (P<0.05).After adjusting confounding factors, the results of multi-factor Logisticstepwise regression analysis showed that TyG and ApoA1 were independent risk factors for severity of coronary artery stenosis. In prediction of severity of coronary artery stenosis by TyG combined with ApoA1,AUC of ROC was 75.5% with higher predictive value. Conclusion TyG and ApoA1 are independent influence factors for severity of coronary artery stenosis, and TyG combined with ApoA1would be better in prediction of severity of coronary artery stenosis.
