Objective To establish a standardized electronic follow-up management system for glaucoma patients to solve the problem that the medical records of glaucoma patients are scattered and difficult to read and analyze comprehensively,continuously and systematically.Methods The 24-hour intraocular pressure,optic nerve optical coherence tomography(OCT)and visual field data of a patient with primary open-angle glaucoma for 10 consecutive years were analyzed and an electronic follow-up file was established.The data were visualized by graphs,distribution maps and radar charts.Results An electronic follow-up management system for glaucoma patients was established to solve the problems existing in the current follow-up status,so as to realize the electronic management of follow-up files for glaucoma patients.Conclusions The establishment of a standardized electronic follow-up management system for glaucoma patients is helpful to the tracking and analysis of glaucoma patients,convenient for the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma clinicians,and has great significance for the study of diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.
