Normal aging leads to the decline of auditory and vestibular functions.The cochlea and vestibular,both part of the inner ear,are anatomically and physiologically interconnected and both exhibit age-related structural and functional changes.This article reviews the changes in vestibular function among patients with presbycusis,aiming to provide new insights for the diagnosis and treatment of presbycusis and age-related vestibular function loss.
