OBJECTIVE: To provide reference for make reasonable pricing of hospital preparations. METHODS: Analyzing the characteristics of hospital preparations, the status and impact in medical treatment, and access requirements of it rising, to discuss the main factors which should be comprehensive considered for make pricing of hospital preparations. RESULTS: The current methods for make pricing of hospital preparations could not reflect the real constitute element of price change. And it lead to the price of hospital preparations is too low, and had seriously affect its development and survival. CONCLUSION: In order to make healthy and sustainable development of hospital preparations, the new pricing of hospital preparations should consider its contribution, status , characteristic, and raised price which cost by GPP, and to give some profit margins.
