Study on the Correlation Between the Volatile Constituents ofAquilaria sinensis and the Inducing Methods
OBJECTIVE: To study the correlation between the volatile constituents of Aquilaria sinensis and the inducing meth-ods. METHODS: The volatile constituents of A. Sinensis were extracted by cold-maceration with chloroform and analyzed by GC-MS. RESULTS: The volatile constituents of naturally formed A. Sinensis mainly consisted of 2-(2-phenylethyl) chromone and sesquiterpene, and their content ratios were between 0.78~2.32. The content ratio by cutting inducing method was 2.43, which was similar to the naturally formed A. Sinensis. The content ratio by chemical stimulation inducing method was 12.86, in which 2-(2-phenylethyl) chromone was apparently higher than sesquiterpene. CONCLUSION: The volatile constituents differences of A. Si-nensis formed by different inducing methods are analyzed and the results lay a good foundation for the evaluation of different A. Si-nensis inducing methods.
