Analysis of the vaccination status of age-appropriate children in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from 2019 to 2022
Objective To find out the National Immunization Program(NIP)vaccination status of age-appropriate children in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from 2019 to 2022.Methods The vaccination information of age-appropriate children for the 20 doses of NIP vaccines in Xinjiang was collected and evaluated using the Xinjiang Immunization Program Information Management System.The vaccination rates for each dose,timely vaccination rates,and the proportion of alternative vaccinations were analyzed.Results A total of 2 629 400 children born between 2013 and 2022 were included in this study,and the vaccination rate for each of the 20 doses of NIP vaccines ranged from 80.60%to 99.61%.There was a substitution of the NIP vaccine for the non-NIP vaccine,with the percentage of substitution ranging from 0.01%to 0.60%.Conclusions The overall NIP vaccination rate of age-appropriate children in Xinjiang is generally at a high level,and the information collected through the Xinjiang Immunization Planning Information Management System can be used as a reference for the assessment of the NIP vaccination rate.
