This study aims to analyze the current status and pathways of Chinese medical associations'participation in global health governance and to provide suggestions to facilitate their involvement.Through literature analysis and interview surveys, the study investigates the main activities of typical medicine associations in China.Using case studies and comparative analysis,it examines the pathways and challenges faced by five typical association organizations in participating in global health governance and then proposes corresponding countermeasures and insights.China's medicine associations have made important contributions to China's participation in global health governance by playing the role of advocacy, networking, guidance, and serving as platforms. However, there are several deficiencies in the process, including a lack of awareness of the importance of taking the initiative to participate in global health governance,an obvious deficiency of participation in technical activities, insufficient experience in responding to issues involving Chinese sovereignty, and a low number of self-initiated international organizations or affiliates located in China. It is recommended that medical associations cooperate with the government to make an active voice in global health development planning, further enhance the international discourse in professional fields, and continuously improve their ability to apply rules, enhance influence, and build consensus by uniting partners who are friendly to China,so as to help China's in-depth participation in global health governance and to serve the overall national health diplomacy.
