In recent years,the emergence of new tuberculosis prevention and control technologies has provided promising hope for diagnosing and treating tuberculosis patients.However,these technologies have not yet met the requirements for"ending tuberculosis".China is a high-burden country for tuberculosis,and there is still an urgent need to accelerate the development of new technologies for tuberculosis diagnosis,treatment,and vaccines.This study systematically reviews the latest progress in global research and development of new technologies for tuberculosis prevention and control,analyzes the current major issues,and proposes strategies and policy recommendations for China based on the identified needs.
