摘要
目的 通过分析医院的专利与科技成果转化数据,探究医疗领域技术经理人在科技成果转化中的重要作用.方法 选取2018-2022年,北京、上海10家三级甲等综合医院(按照字母排序简称为A～J医院),以及北京大学肿瘤医院的专利数据为研究对象.其中,C、G、H及北京大学肿瘤医院配备专职技术经理人,其余为兼职技术经理人.通过统计描述,分析每家医院专利授权,专利合作条约(PCT)、发明专利授权数量及其转化率情况.结果 10家三级甲等综合医院中,4家专利授权量≥1 000项,1家专利授权量889项,5家专利授权量300～400项,专利授权量平均892项;4家医院的PCT、发明专利授权量占专利授权总量的比例＞20%.配备技术经理人的A～J医院中,专利权转化率较高的为G医院(9.8%)、H医院(13.6%),6家医院专利权的转化率＜5%;PCT与发明专利的转化率较高的为C医院(13.6%)、H医院(26.9%)及北京大学肿瘤医院(12.7%),北京大学肿瘤医院更偏重于促进高质量、高价值专利的培育及转化.结论 医院配备专职技术经理人对专利授权与提高转化率具有重要价值,有利于促进研究型医院科技成果转化.
Abstract
Objective To explore the significant role of technology managers in the technology transfer process by analyzing patent and technology transfer data in hospitals.Methods The study focuses on patent data from 2018 to 2022 in ten tertiary comprehensive hospitals in Beijing and Shanghai(designated as Hospitals A to J)and Beijing Cancer Hospital.Among them,Hospitals C,G,H,and Beijing Cancer Hospital have full-time technology managers,while the rest have part-time technology managers.The analysis includes a statistical description and an examination of the patent authorization,patent cooperation treaty(PCT),and invention patent authorization quantities,as well as their conversion rates.Results Among the ten tertiary comprehensive hospitals,four had patent authorizations exceeding 1,000,one had 889,five had authorizations ranging from 300 to 400,with an average of 892 authorizations.Four hospitals had PCT and invention patent authorizations accounting for over 20%of the total.Among the hospitals with technology managers(Hospitals A to J),G Hospital(9.8%)and H Hospital(13.6%)demonstrated higher patent conversion rates,while six hospitals had conversion rates below 5%.Regarding PCT and invention patents,C Hospital(13.6%),H Hospital(26.9%),and Beijing Cancer Hospital(12.7%)exhibited higher conversion rates,with Beijing Cancer Hospital emphasizing the cultivation and conversion of high-quality,high-value patents.Conclusions The presence of full-time technology managers in hospitals plays a crucial role in raising patent authorization and conversion data,contributing to the successful technology transfer of research-oriented hospitals.
