Human genetic resources preservation activities are of great significance in promoting the development of biomedical science and technology and safeguarding people's health. In order to promote the preservation and utilization of human genetic resources in accordance with the law,follow ethical principles,and maintain biological and data security,a guideline for compliance of human genetic resources preservation activities in Beijing has been developed. The guideline gives specific guidance on human genetic resources preservation activities in five aspects:basic requirements for preservation activities,approval of preservation permits,requirements for sites,facilities and equipment,information systems,management structure and implementation of activities,for reference and implementation by human genetic resources preservation organizations at all levels.
