Lung transplantation is the only treatment for many kinds of end-stage lung diseases. China's lung transplantation has been developing rapidly in recent years,with rapid growth in the number of units available for lung transplantation and the annual volume of surgeries,and the challenge of completing a number of difficult surgeries or innovative surgical procedures. However,the high-quality development of lung transplantation is still affected by the quality of donor lungs,the condition of recipients,the difficulty of surgery and the rate of postoperative complications. In this article,authors review the current status and limiting bottlenecks in the development of lung transplantation in China,summarise the innovative therapeutic means of lung transplantation in China in recent years,and look forward to the future development of lung transplantation.
