The elderly people have become the main subjects seeking medical services in an aging society,bringing new challenges to health administration.Targeting the specific features of physical/mental status and social abilities in elderly population,establishing an elderly-oriented outpatient care mode is a feasible measure to meet the increasing needs of healthcare.Our hospital has established an elderly-oriented outpatient care mode by optimizing the outpatient environment,creating specialist clinics,implementing online and offline multidisciplinary collaborative diagnosis and treatment mode,updating the elderly-friendly information system,implementing offline nursing clinics and"Internet+nursing"mode,and establishing one-stop service centers.These efforts have offered the elderly patients with high-quality humanistic medical services,improved the patients'experience in healthcare-seeking,increased the convenience of medical treatment,and promoted medical equity.These initiatives provided references for constructing elderly-oriented outpatient care mode.
