Endometriosis is a kind of gynecological benign disease which is difficult to cure and easy to relapse.The related symptoms such as pain and infertility caused by endometriosis have caused great interference to women's normal life.A large number of research results have pointed out that the occurrence and progression of endometriosis are closely related to ferroptosis,although this has been widely recognized,but the specific mechanism needs to be further explored.This article reviews the biochemical process of ferroptosis and its research progress in endometriosis related symptoms,so as to bring a new diagnosis and treatment idea for the clinic.
