Correlation between the expression of ADPN,CA-125,CRABP2 in tissues and serum of ovarian cancer patients and their clinical pathological features and prognosis
Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of adiponectin(ADPN),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA-125),and cellular retinoic acid-binding protein 2(CRABP2)in the tissues and serum of ovarian cancer(OC)patients and their clinical pathological features and prognosis. Methods A total of 97 OC patients(OC group)who underwent surgical resection in the Department of Gynecology of Cangzhou City People's Hospital from January 2018 to November 2020 were regarded as the study subjects, and another 99 patients with benign ovarian tumors(benign group)and 100 healthy women without ovarian related diseases(control group)were selected.According to the 3-year follow-up prognosis, patients were separated into survival group(n=67)and death group(n=30).The expression of ADPN,CA-125,and CRABP2 in ovarian tissue and serum of each group and their relationship with clinical pathological features were analyzed.Logistic regression was applied to analyze the influencing factors of mortality in OC patients.Kaplan-Meier method was applied to analyze the 3-year survival rate of OC patients. Results The positive expression of CA-125 and CRABP2 in the ovarian tissue of the OC group was higher than that of the benign group, while the positive expression of ADPN was lower than that of the benign group(P<0.05).The expression of CA-125 and CRABP2 in serum was higher than that in the benign group and control group, while the expression of ADPN was lower than that in the benign group and control group(P<0.05).The ADPN level in the survival group was higher than that in the death group, while the CA-125 and CRABP2 levels were lower than those in the death group(P<0.05).The serum ADPN level was negatively correlated with FIGO staging, lymph node metastasis, and pathological staging, and positively correlated with lymph node dissection(P<0.05).The levels of serum CA-125 and CRABP2 were positively correlated with FIGO staging, lymph node metastasis, and pathological staging, and negatively cor-related with lymph node dissection(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that ADPN,CA-125,and CRABP2 were independent influencing factors for mortality in OC patients(P<0.05).The 3-year overall survival rate of ADPN positive ex-pression patients was significantly higher than that of ADPN negative expression patients, and the 3-year overall survival rate of CA-125 positive expression patients was significantly lower than that of CA-125 negative expression patients. The 3-year overall survival rate of CRABP2 positive expression patients was lower than that of CRABP2 negative expression patients(P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of ADPN in the tissues and serum of OC patients are lower, while the levels of CA-125 and CRABP2 are higher, which are related to the clinical pathological features and prognosis of patients.
