Analysis of the relationship between GOLPH3 protein expression and platinum chemotherapy sensitivity in cervical cancer tissue
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of Golgi phosphorylated protein 3(GOLPH3)and platinum chemotherapy sensitivity in cervical cancer tissue. Methods A total of 118 patients with cervical cancer who visited Qinghai Red Cross Hospital from October 2017 to February 2020 were collected as the study objects.GOLPH3 expression was de-tected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot;to analyze the relationship between GOLPH3 expression and the pathological features in cancer tissues;the positive expression of GOLPH3 in tissues of cervical cancer patients with different chemotherapy ef-fects was compared.Kaplan-Meier method to explore the relationship between the expression of GOLPH3 and prognosis of patients with cervical cancer. Results The positive expression of GOLPH3 in cervical cancer tissue[70.34% (83/118)]and protein expression(0.96±0.27)were higher than that in adjacent tissues[35.59% (42/118),0.58±0.16](P<0.05).GOLPH3 expression in cervical cancer tissue was correlated with FIGO stages, differentiation levels, lymph node metastasis, and depth of infiltration(P<0.05).The expres-sion level of GOLPH3 protein in the drug resistant group was obviously higher than that in the sensitive group(P<0.05).The 3-year survival rate of patients with positive GOLPH3 expression[72.29% (60/83)]was lower than that of patients with negative expression[91.43% (32/35)](P<0.05).Conclusion GOLPH3-positive expression and protein were at low expression levels in cervical cancer tissues, and its protein expression level is closely related to platinum chemotherapy sensitivity.GOLPH3 may become a molecular marker for predicting platinum chemotherapy sensitivity in cervical cancer patients.
