Expression and clinical significance of anti-apoptosis-related molecule BAG3 in cervical cancer and precancerous lesions
Objective The expression and clinical significance of anti-apoptosis-related molecule BAG3 in cervical cancer and precancerous disease-onset lesions. Methods The clinical data of 54 cervical cancer patients admitted to Zigong First People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were collected, with 7 cases aged<45 years and 47 cases aged 45 years.Immunohistochemical chemical staining was used to detect BAG3 protein expression levels in cervical cancer tissues and paracancerous tissues, and to analyze the expression.of anti-apoptosis-related molecule BAG3 in different pathological tissues and in each group of cervical lesions.Hierarchical regression was used to analyze the expression levels of different clinicopathological features of anti-apoptosis-related molecule BAG3.Generalized linear mixed-effects model was used to analyze the relationships between the influencing factors of anti-apoptosis-related molecule BAG3 and the relationship be-tween anti-apoptosis-related molecule BAG3 and immune microenvironmental factors was analyzed by TIMER database. The effects of anti-apoptosis-related molecule BAG3 and immune microenvironmental factors on cervical cancer were analyzed by interaction. Results Immunohistochemistry test results showed that the positive expression rate of anti-apoptosis-related mole-cule BAG3 in cervical cancer tissues was as high as 84.21%.Analysis of the relationship between clinicopathological parameters yielded that the expression of B AG3 had a correlation with age, pathological grade, lymph node metastasis, depth of infiltrating muscle layer, and tumor diameter.Horizontal hierarchical regression analysis yielded that factors related to the expression of BAG3 would have a significant negative impact on the molecular expression of BAG3.Generalized linear mixed-effects model analysis showed a statistical association between factors related to the expression of BAG3 and the prognosis of cervical cancer.Analysis using the TIMER database yielded that BAG3 has the potential to promote cervical cancer metastasis by changing the function of immune cells in the tumor microenvironment.Interaction analysis yielded an additive interaction between the expression of the anti-apoptosis-related molecule BAG3×immune microenvironment factors on cervical cancer. Conclusion The high expression of BAG3 in cervical cancer affects the prognosis of patients, and BAG3 is expected to be used as a diagnostic marker for cervical cancer,as well as a characteristic marker for cervical cancer metastasis.
