Expression of miR-18a-5p and TNFAIP3 in triple negative breast cancer and their relationship with postoperative recurrence and metastasis
Objective To analyze the expression of miR-18a-5p,tumor necrosis factor a inducible protein 3(TNFAIP3)in triple negative breast cancer and its relationship with postoperative recurrence and metastasis.Methods From November 2019 to November 2020,88 patients with triple negative breast cancer admitted to the Second Hospital of Jingzhou,were selected,specimens of cancer tissue and adjacent tissues removed during surgical from patients were collected.qRT-PCR was applied to detect the expression level of miR-18a-5p.IHC was applied to detect the expression of TNFAIP3.Collect and analyze patients'clinicopathological characteristics.Multivariate Logistic analysis was applied to analyze the influencing factors of postoperative recurrence and metastasis in patients.Spearman method was applied to analyze the correlation be-tween miR-18a-5p and TNFAIP3.Results Compared with adjacent tissues,the expression level of miR-18a-5p in cancer tis-sues was obviously reduced,and the positive expression rate of TNFAIP3 was obviously increased(P＜0.05).miR-18a-5p and TNFAIP3 expression correlates with tumor diameter,TNM stage,degree of tissue differentiation,and lymph node metastasis(P＜0.05).There were statistically obvious differences in expression of miR-18a-5p and TNFAIP3 between the postoperative recurrence and metastasis group and the non recurrence and metastasis group(P＜0.05).Elevated expression of miR-18a-5p was a protective factor affecting postoperative recurrence and metastasis in patients(P＜0.05),while low tissue differentiation,lymph node metastasis,and TNFAIP3 positive expression were risk factors affecting postoperative recurrence and metastasis in patients(P＜0.05).miR-18a-5p and TNFAIP3 were negatively correlated(P＜0.05).Conclusion In triple negative breast cancer,the expression of miR-18a-5p is down regulated and TNFAIP3 is positively expressed,both of which are the influenc-ing factors of postoperative recurrence and metastasis.
