Detection and analysis on vitamin A,D,and E levels in serum of pregnant women at different pregnancy stages in Inner Mongolia
Objective The purpose of this paper is to detect the level of vitamin A,D,E and especially analyze ab-normal rate in different gestational period of pregnant women in Inner Mongolia so as to provide theoretical support for the rational vitamin supplementation of pregnant women in the area. Methods 1292 pregnant women who received prenatal care at Inner Mongolia Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital from August to October 2022 have been selected as the research subjects.HPLC-MS/MS method is used to detect serum levels of vitamin A,D,and E in pregnant women of different gesta-tional periods, conducting statistical analysis, and calculating their abnormal rates. Results The distribution range(95%CI)of serum vitamins A,D,and E in this study were(355.03-367.77)ng/mL,(14.2-14.85)ng/mL,and(7089.97-7375.39)ng/mL,respectively,where deficiency rates correspond with 30.42%,98.30%,and 16.64%,respectively.Pregnant women with exces-sive levels of vitamin A and E accounted for only 0.77%and 0.15%,in addition, none of them had excessive levels of vitamin D.Among them,in early pregnancy, the abnormal rates of vitamin A,D,and E were 30.77%,98.82%,and 19.34%,respec-tively;in mid pregnancy, the abnormal rates of vitamin A,D,and E were 28.84%,97.18%,and 11.29%,respectively;in the late pregnancy, the abnormal rates of vitamin A,D,and E were 62.16%,94.59%,and 0%,respectively.The levels and abnor-mal rates of serum vitamin A,D,and E in pregnant women at different stages of pregnancy were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The deficiency of vitamin A,D and E in pregnant women in Inner Mongolia is serious, and the abnor-mal rate is high.
