Analysis of HPV virus infection typing and characteristies of 1141 cases in pregnant women in Xindu District
Objective To analyze the typology and characteristics of human papilloma(HPV)virus infection in pregnant women in Xindu District and to guide the prevention and treatment of HPV infection during pregnancy. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the case data of pregnant women in the Xindu District People's Hospital of Chengdu from January 2022 to August 2023.The HPV typing of all cases was detected by fluorescence PCR,and the results were statistically ana-lyzed.Results Among the 1141 pregnant women, there were 174 cases of HPV infection, with an infection rate of 15.25%.The main types of high-risk infection were HPV52,58 and 53,while the low-risk types were HPV44 and 81.There were 123 cases of single genotype infection(10.78%),and the main infection types were HPV52,58 and 44.51 cases(4.47%)were infected with multiple genotypes, including 29 cases(2.54%)with double genotypes and 22 cases(1.93%)with triple or more genotypes. The infection rates of 16-25-year-old,26-35-year-old and 36-44-year-old were 5.35%,8.94%and 0.96%respec-tively,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The HPV infection rates in the early, second and third trimester of pregnancy were 7.36%,7.71%and 0.18%respectively,and the infection rate in the early and second trimester was signifi-cantly higher than that in the third trimester. The HPV infection rates of less than two pregnancies and more than or equal to two pregnancies were 15.41%and 15.11%respectively,and there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion HPV infection in pregnant women is dominated by high-risk and single-gene type infections, and the common subtypes are HPV52,58,53,and 44,and age is a factor affecting high-risk HPV infection in pregnant women. The publicity and screening of HPV in pregnancy should be strengthened.
