Bibliometric analysis of obstetric antiphospholipid syndrome research hotspots based on CiteSpace
Objective To explore the evolution of hotspots and trends in the field of obstetric antiphospholipid syn-drome(OAPS)through bibliometrics and knowledge graph analysis.By looking for hotspots and new topics,we will provide new clues and ideas for researchers in this field so that more researchers will pay attention to this field and obtain more opti-mized and effective treatment options for this disease in the clinic. Methods Articles and reviews regarding OAPS were re-trieved from the Web of Science Core Collection and PubMed on January 1st,2024.The search formula for advanced searches was TS=(OAPS OR obstetric antiphospholipid syndrome).CtieSpace 6.2.R4 and VOSviewer(version 1.6.19)were used for the bibliometric and knowledge map analyses. Results This paper included 727 publications from 72 countries, led by Italy and the United States. The number of publications related to OAPS was increasing annually. The main research institutions were the University of London,Guy's & St Thomas'NHS Foundation Trust and University of Bar-celona.Most publications were published in the Lupus.J Thromb Haemost was the most popular journal."Antiphospholipid syndrome","systemic lupus erythematosus","antiphospholipid antibodies","pregnancy loss",and"conventional therapy"were current research hotspots. Conclusion This bibliometric study is the first to comprehensively summarize the research trends and developments of the OAPS.This study identified recent research frontiers and hot topics, which will provide a theoretical basis for scholars study-ing OAPS.
