Analysis of the effect of integrating course ideology and politics into undergraduate teaching of medical genetics
Medical genetics,as a fundamental medical course,fully tapping into the ideological and political ele-ments contained therein and integrating them into professional classroom teaching can help achieve an effective combination of knowledge transmission and value guidance.The article takes undergraduate students majoring in"Medical Genetics"at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2020 to 2022 as the research subjects,and uses a questionnaire survey to investigate the implementation effect of integrating ideological and political education into the teaching of medical genetics.The survey results show that,more than 85%of the students recognize and consider it necessary for the ideological and political education of medical genetics courses,and the form that most students liked was case analysis method.By inte-grating the ideological and political education of the curriculum into the teaching practice of medical genetics,students can learn about the research achievements and contributions of Chinese scientists in genetics through teaching forms such as case analysis,students acquire specialized genetic knowledge to promote the national spirit,enhance national pride,but also to establish the students for the people's service and selfless dedication of the moral,it provides the train of thought and reference for the reform of ideological and political education of different medical courses in the new era.
