Objective:To provide scientific basis for screening excellent AM fungi strains of Paris poly-phylla var.yunnanensis, the effects of different arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi on the yield and quality of P.polyphylla var.yunnanensis were investigated. Methods:The fresh rhizomes of P.poly-phylla var.yunnanensis were cocultured with 28 kinds of AM fungi in pot culture at room temperature with sterilized soil as growth medium. After sampling,30 roots of P.polyphylla var.yunnanensis were soaked in FAA,and the Philips J M method was used for staining, sectioning and microscopic exami-nation,the mycorrhizal infection rate was calculated according to Trouvelot's method. In addition, the contents of nucleosides(cytidine,uridine,guanosine,thymidine,adenosine,2'-deoxyadenosine)and bases(uracil, guanine, adenine)in rhizomes of P.polyphylla var.yunnanensis were determined and compared by HPLC.Results:The infection rates of AM fungi of P.polyphylla var.yunnanensis in most treatment groups were increased, and the infection rates of Ga,Asc and Asp treatment groups were significantly increased. In addition, different AM fungi had different effects on the content of nu-cleosides and bases in rhizomes; The accumulation of nucleosides and bases in the rhizome of P.poly-phylla var.yunnanensis may have both synergistic and competitive effects. Conclusion:Exogenous AM fungi can regulate(increase or decrease)the infection rate of AM fungi in the roots of P.polyphylla var.yunnanensis.Inoculation of Sde、Gd、Sca、Spe、Svi、Pb during artificial cultivation brasilianum, which can effectively promote the quality of P.polyphylla var.yunnanensis.
