A wild population of Dendrobium flexicaule as national"Ⅰ"protected plant was found in Dong'an Town,Chengkou County,Chongqing City in July 2021.The voucher specimens were stored in the Herbarium of the Chongqing Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine(SM).The new discov-ery of D.flexicaule provided new information for orchids in Chongqing including plant morphology,habitat community and associated plant characteristics with corresponding pictures.
