Objective:In order to find out the distribution of traditional Chinese medicine resources in Juancheng County,the medicinal plant resources and local market dynamics of Chinese herbal medi-cine were comprehensively investigated.Methods:Through literature research,field investigation,specimen collection and other methods,the distribution of plant resources and the investigation results of Chinese medicinal materials market were generalized and analyzed.Results:There were 59 families and 156 species of medicinal plants that came from 136 genera in Juancheng County.Among them,61 key Chinese medicinal materials came from 54 species of these plants.And there were 10 species of me-dicinal plants were cultivated,among which Lonicera japonica Thunb.and Saposhnikovia divaricata(Turcz.)Schischk.had larger cultivation area.The market was abundant with a wide variety of Chinese medicinal materials,which the largest proportion being derived from plants.Conclusion:Juancheng County had rich medicinal plant resources and a variety of cultivated medicinal plants.Juancheng Coun-ty possessed abundant medicinal plant resources with a wide variety of cultivated species,and its mar-ket had vast potentials for development.The results provided the basis for the local govemment's devel-opment and utilization of Chinese medicine resources.
