Objective:To investigate the growth status and active ingredient content of Angelica sinen-sis seedlings from various sources when planted in different test sites.Methods:A.sinensis seedlings from Dingxi and Longnan in Gansu Province, and Haidong in Qinghai Province were selected and cul-tivated in Dingxi,Longnan,Zhangye, and Haidong.Key traits, including rootstock diameter, number of lateral roots, and root length, were observed in detail. The contents of ferulic acid and ligustilide were determined by HPLC.Results:Compared to other treatments,A.sinensis seedlings from Haid-ong,Qinghai,exhibited the best agronomic traits and active ingredient content when cultivated locally. The rootstock diameter was 32.19 mm,the number of lateral roots was 12,the root length was 0.8 cm,the dry weight was 63.56 g,the ferulic acid content was 0.107 8%,and the ligustilide content was 0.369 9%.Pearson correlation analysis indicated that the quality of A.sinensis improved when the seed-ling and cultivation sites were the same. This demonstrated that the yield and quality of A.sinensis were closely linked and influenced by growth conditions. Conclusion:For practical production,it was rec-ommended to use A.sinensis seedlings from Haidong,Qinghai, and cultivate them locally to fully uti-lize the growth advantages, ensuring high yield and quality.
