During the investigation of plant diversity in Fuling District and Wushan County,Chongq-ing,two species of Orobanchaceae were discovered and reported.After consulting literature and exam-ining specimens,these were identified as Monochasma savatieri Franch.ex Maxim.and Rehmannia henryi N.E.Brown.These findings represented new distribution records for Chongqing.Notably,the discovery of Monochasma savatieri Franch.ex Maxim.in Chongqing marked the first occurrence of this species in southwest China and extended its known distribution elevation to 1 205 meters.This dis-covery enriched the floral diversity of Chongqing and provided new materials for the compilation of lo-cal flora.The voucher specimens were currently stored in the Herbarium of the Natural Museum,Southwest University(SWCTU).
