Objective:Based on the different compositions between aboveground part and root of Lamiophlomis rotata, the hemostatic and analgesic effects of these two different parts in L.rotata were explored.Methods:UHPLC-Q-Exactive-Orbitrap-MS was used to quickly characterize and identify the chemical compositions of two different parts. The network pharmacology was used to study the unique components of different medicinal parts and the related targets associated with hemostasis and analgesia, explore the material basis acting on hemostasis and analgesia of the unique components of aboveground part and root, and to analyze the main active components in the L.rotata.Results:193 compounds were identified in the aboveground part and 191 compounds were identified in the roots of L.rotata,of which 13 and 11 were unique components of the aboveground part and roots, respectively. The results of network pharmacology indicated that the five core components(18β-Glycyrrhetintic acid,Ursolic acid,l-Stepholidine,α-Cyperone,Rubescensin A),which exerted the hemostatic and analgesic effects, were all from the aboveground part of the plant. These components achieved hemo-stasis and analgesia through their actions on the 177 intersecting genes and the modulation of multiple signaling pathways. Conclusion:The study showed that the pharmacodynamic material basis for treat-ing hemostasis and analgesia of different parts of L.rotata was different, and the aboveground part was more suitable for treating hemostasis and analgesia as medicine of L.rotata, which providing a basis for the development and utilization of different parts and resource protection about L.rotata.
