Objective:The contents of active components and antioxidant activities in different tissues of Camellia chekiangoleosa Hu were studied.Methods:Tissues were collected,extracted with 70% eth-anol by ultrasonication,and then concentrated.The contents of total flavonoids,total phenols,and to-tal triterpenoids were measured.The antioxidant activitie of the tissues were evaluated using DPPH and ABTS methods.Results:The content of total flavonoids was highest in flowers and leaves,followed by seed shells and kernels.The content of total phenols was greatest in flowers,then leaves,kernels,and shells.The content of total triterpenoids was similar in flowers,leaves,and kernels,with shells having the least.Antioxidant activity was highest in flowers,followed by leaves,shells,and kernels.Conclu-sion:Flowers had the highest levels of active components and antioxidant activity,followed by leaves.While seed shells and kernels also have potential for development.
