Objective:To clarify the resource status and medicinal value of orchids in Yunzhongshan Nature Reserve in Fujian Province,and to enable more people to understand and protect orchid.Meth-ods:In the 4th national survey of Chinese medicine resources,the species,distribution and medicinal value of orchid resources in Yunzhongshan were investigated by collecting and identifying field speci-mens.Results:There were 45 species and 24 genera of wild orchids,2 cultivated species and 2 gen-era,32 species and 18 genera with medicinal value,9 species and 4 genera under state key protection,6 areal types of genus and species,mainly tropical distribution,8 orchids endemic to China.Conclu-sion:The Orchidaceae resources in the Yunzhongshan Nature Reserve were relatively abundant.Strengthening the understanding and protection of Orchidaceae was conducive to the biodiversity of the area,producing good ecological benefits,and providing a reference for the protection,research and sustainable utilization of Orchidaceae.
