Objective:To investigate the occurrence status of powdery mildew on landscape plants in Lushan, and to clarify their pathogen species. Methods:The powdery mildew on landscape plants was investigated using the method of on-site surveys, and the pathogen causing powdery mildew on land-scape plants was identified by morphological observation and molecular phylogenetic analysis. Re-sults:The study showed that powdery mildew mainly damaged 19 species belonging to 19 genera in 9 families, such as Quercus glauca,Platanus acerifolia and Lamium barbatum. A total of 11 species from 6 genera of powdery mildew pathogens were identified,of which 9 species were newly recorded of landscape plants in Jiangxi Province. They were Erysiphe platani,Erysiphe quercicola,Golovino-myces artemisiae,Golovinomyces asterum var. solidaginis,Golovinomyces bolayi,Neoerysiphe gale-opsidis,Podosphaera macularis,Podosphaera xanthii,Sawadaea tulasnei. In addition,Veronica per-sica was identified as a new host of Golovinomyces bolayi in China. Conclusion:The results provide a theoretical basis for further research on the diversity on pathogen fungi of powdery mildew on land-scape plants in Lushan, and have positive significance for the prevention and control of powdery mil-dew on Lushan landscape plants.
