Objective:To clarify the distribution pattern of Bletilla striata resources and to facilitate the conservation and scientific utilization of these resources. Methods:Based on the geographical distribu-tion data,ArcGIS was used to map the distribution of four species belonging to Bletilla in China. R package Biomod2 was employed to simulate the potential distribution of B. striata in China and to ana-lyze its relationship with environmental variables. Results:The ensemble models performed well, with an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) of 0.95 and true skill statistics (TSS) of 0.82. Among the evaluated environmental factors, the minimum temperature of coldest month was the dominant influence on the distribution of B. striata. The potential distribution of B. striata was mainly located in mid-subtropical China. Conclusion:The ensemble model proved to be the most suit-able for predicting the potential distribution of B. striata. The reliable findings provided a theoretical ba-sis for the investigation, protection, and selection of cultivation regions for Bletilla resources in China.
