Objective:To investigate the chemical components of the petroleum ether extract from Meconopsis integrifolia. Methods:The samples of M.integrifolia were grinded, extracted with ethanol and petroleum ether, and separated by silica gel column chromatography.Using petroleum ether-ethyl acetate as the mobile phase, elution was carried out according to the gradient of 100∶0,50∶1,40∶1,30∶1,20∶1,and five fractions were collected(Fr1-Fr5).Results:A total of 117 components were detected by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS),of which five compounds with a con-tent exceeding 10%were Hexadecane,Heptadecane,3,5,11-Eudesmatriene,2,4-Di-tert-Butylphe-nol,and Phenanthrene. Conclusion:The method of determining the chemical components of the petro-leum ether extract of M.integrifolia by GC-MS was stable and reliable, providing a more accurate foundation for the establishment of a quality evaluation system for M.integrifolia.
