IgG4-related diseases(IgG4-RD)are multi-systemic conditions resulting from autoimmune disorders and characterized by chronic fibrotic inflammation.Among these,IgG4 digestive system disorders(IgG4-DSD)remain an underrecognized rare disease in China,lacking expert consensus or established guidelines.The condition is frequently misdiagnosed as neoplastic,inflammatory,or infectious processes and can lead to end-stage organ failure with a poor prognosis.This article aims to discuss the epidemiology of IgG4 digestive system diseases,diagnostic criteria,the association between these diseases and tumors as well as diabetes mellitus,treatment options,and other relevant aspects to enhance clinicians'understanding and improve diagnostic and therapeutic pathways for this condition.
