Study on Efficacy of Tenofovir and Zidovudine in AIDS Patients
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of tenofovir and zidovudine in the treatment of AIDS.Methods:A retrospective analysis of 83 AIDS patients admitted to our hospital from October 2019 to January 2022 was conducted as the research object. The patients were divided into group A(45 cases)and group B(38 cases)according to different antiviral regimens.Group A was treated with tenofovir-based treatment, and group B was treated with zidovudine-based treatment. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results:The HIV-RNA viral load in group A was lower than that in group B at 3 and 6 months after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The peripheral blood CD4+T lymphocyte count in group A was higher than that in group B at 3 and 6 months after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The SF-36 score of group A was higher than that of group B at 6 months after treatment, and the SAS and SDS scores were lower than those of group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in group A was 8.89%,which was lower than 31.58%in group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tenofovir-based antiviral drugs are effective in the treatment of AIDS,which can inhibit the viral load in patients, improve immune level, improve quality of life, reduce bad mood, and have good safety.
