Effect of Dapagliflozin in Adjuvant Treatment of Diabetes Mellitus Complicated with Hypertension
Objective:To investigate the effect of dapagliflozin in the treatment of diabetic mellitus patients with hypertension and its effect on blood pressure. Methods:From February 2018 to January 2023,70 patients with diabetes mellitus and hypertension admitted to Tianjin Binhai New Area Hangzhou Dao Street Community Health Service Center were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into dapagliflozin group(35 patients)and control group(35 patients). The control group was treated with levamlodipine maleate combined with metformin hydrochloride, and the dapagliflozin group was treated with dapagliflozin on the basis of the control group. The changes of blood pressure, blood glucose and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results:After 3 months of treatment, the systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the dagliflozin group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Fasting blood glucose and 2-h postprandial blood glucose levels in the dagliflozin group were lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of each dimension of quality of life in the dapagliflozin group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Dapagliflozin in the treatment of diabetic mellitus patients with hypertension can promote the reduction of blood pressure and fasting blood glucose,2-h postprandial blood glucose levels, and continuously improve the quality of life of patients.
