Effect of Yiqi Yangxin Decoction in Adjuvant Treatment of Patients with Chronic Heart Failure
Objective:To investigate the effect of Yiqi Yangxin decoction on clinical efficacy,cardiac function,vascular endothelial function,heart failure markers and major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)of patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods:A total of 122 CHF patients admitted to our hospital from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected.According to different drug treatment methods,they were divided into the conventional drug group(61 cases)and the Yiqi Yangxin decoction group(61 cases).The conventional medicine group was treated with conventional western medicine,while the Yiqi Yangxin decoction group was treated with Yiqi Yangxin decoction on the basis of the conventional medicine group.The clinical efficacy,myocardial function indexes[left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)],vascular endothelial function related indexes[nitric oxide(NO),endothelin(ET),nitric oxide synthase(NOS)],heart failure markers[serum galactose lectin-3(Gal-3),pentamer protein-3(PTX-3),N-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide(NT proBNP),soluble tumor suppressor factor 2(sST2)],and MACE were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the Yiqi Yangxin decoction group was 96.72%,which was higher than 85.25%of the conventional drug group(P<0.05).After 2 months of treatment,LVEDD and LVESD in the Yiqi Yangxin decoction group were lower than those in the conventional drug group,and LVEF was higher than that in the conventional drug group(P<0.05).The level of serum ET in Yiqi Yangxin decoction group was lower than that in conventional drug group,and the levels of NO and NOS were higher than those in conventional drug group(P<0.05).The levels of serum Gal-3,PTX-3,NT-proBNP and sST2 in the Yiqi Yangxin decoction group were lower than those in the conventional drug group(P<0.05).After 6 months of follow-up,the incidence of MACE in the Yiqi Yangxin decoction group was 3.45%,which was lower than 17.86%in the conventional drug group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yiqi Yangxin decoction can significantly improve the therapeutic effect of CHF,actively improve the myocardial function and endothelial function,reduce the expression of inflammatory factors,regulate the levels of heart failure markers,control the progress of disease,reduce the incidence of MACE,and has high safety.
