A Giant Invasive Papillary Carcinoma of the Breast:A Case Report and Analysis of Postoperative Medication
Invasive papillary carcinoma(IPC)is a very uncommon histological subtype of invasive breast cancer.Due to its rarity,IPC has no known specific clinical characteristics and few relevant survival data.A common agreement on the treatment option has not been reached.This article reports the clinicopathological data of a patient with giant invasive papillary carcinoma admitted to the Department of Breast Surgery,Cancer Hospital,Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences,and summarizes the relevant literature to explore the clinical characteristics,diagnosis and survival prognosis of invasive papillary carcinoma.The choice of surgical methods and postoperative medication are also discussed.
