Analysis of the First Year Use of Centralized Procurement of Proprietary Chinese Medicine in a Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Henan Province
Objective:To analyze the first year's drug use of proprietary Chinese medicine collected by provincial alliances in 19 provinces such as Hubei, and to explore the significance of the collection policy of proprietary Chinese medicine,so as to provide suggestions for the continuous optimization of the collection plan of proprietary Chinese medicine. Methods:The data of the collected varieties and the same group of non-collected varieties of proprietary Chinese medicine in the inter-provincial alliance of Hubei and other 19 provinces in the first year of a hospital were extracted, and the price, procurement and use of drugs were analyzed. Results:There were 14 groups of 34 varieties of proprietary Chinese medicine collected in our hospital, and 5 groups of 9 varieties of non-collected proprietary Chinese medicine. The price of collected proprietary Chinese medicine was lower than that of non-collected varieties;the purchase completion rate of the collection varieties was 76.47%,and the use completion rate was 82.35%.Conclusion:The price of collectively procured proprietary Chinese medicines is lower, and the utilization completion rate of the drugs is high, which is conducive to the development of China's proprietary Chinese medicines to a higher quality. It is suggested that the proprietary Chinese medicine collection and procurement program should be further optimized in medical institutions'filling in the pre-procurement data and the evaluation system of drug selection criteria.
