Investigation and Analysis of the Prevalence Rate of Infection in a Tertiary Hospital of Orthopedics from 2022 to 2023
Objective:To investigate the survey and trend of hospital infection prevalence rate in a tertiary orthopedic hospital in Zhengzhou,Henan Province from 2022 to 2023.Methods:A combination of bedside investigation and medical record investigation was used to investigate the hospital infection prevalence rate, pathogen testing, and antibiotic use of all hospitalized patients between August 29,2023 and September 20,2022.Results:There was no significant difference in the prevalence rate and case rate of nosocomial infection between the two years(P>0.05),while there was significant difference in the prevalence rate and case rate of community infection between the two years(P<0.05).In 2022 and 2023,the departments with the highest prevalence of nosocomial infection were minimally invasive orthopedics and lower limb orthopedics I,respectively. The detection rate of pathogens in patients with therapeutic use of antibiotics in 2023 was higher than that in 2022(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the pathogen submission rate of nosocomial infection cases between the two years(P>0.05).The utilization rate of antibiotics on the day of investigation in 2022 and 2023 was 35.25%and 42.09%,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the composition of the use of antibiotics, there was no significant difference in the purpose of the use of antibiotics(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the distribution of combined application of antibiotics(P>0.05).Conclusion:Surgical site infection ranked first in this hospital, which was different from that in general hospitals. In the future, the key work is to strengthen the monitoring of hospital infection, the management of surgical site infection, the rational use of antibiotics, further improve the awareness of clinicians, and continuously reduce the daily use rate of antibiotics.
