Observation on the Effect of Qingre Tiaoxue Decoction Combined with Acupoint Application in the Treatment of Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
Objective:To explore the effect of Qingre Tiaoxue Decoction and acupoint application in the treatment of patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease(CPID)of damp-heat stasis type. Methods:A total of 104 patients with CPID of damp-heat stasis type in our hospital from March 2020 to March 2022 were collected and divided into integrated Chinese and western medicine group(n=52)and western medicine group(n=52)according to different treatment schemes. The western medicine group was treated with oral cefalexin(Cefalexin,CEX),and the combination group was treated with Qingre Tiaoxue decoction and acupoint application on the basis of the western medicine group. The total effective rate,TCM syndrome score, visual analogue scales(VAS)score, inflammatory indexes[transforming growth factor beta-1(TGF-β1),monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1),heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)],oxidative stress indexes[superoxide dismutase(SOD),reactive oxygen species(ROS),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)]were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the combination group was 92.31%,which was higher than 76.92%of the western medicine group(P<0.05).The TCM syndrome score and VAS score of the integrated Chinese and Western medicine group were lower than those of the Western medicine group(P<0.05).The levels of serum MCP-1,HO-1 and ROS in the combination group were lower than those in the western medicine group, and the levels of serum TGF-β1,SOD and GSH-Px were higher than those in the western medicine group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Qingre Tiaoxue decoction and acupoint application assisted CEX in the treatment of CPID patients with damp-heat stasis syndrome have significant curative effect, which can effectively relieve pain and promote the improvement of the disease. At the same time,it can further reduce the body's inflammatory response and relieve oxidative stress.
